ParadigMS Activity Report 2024 – 2025
ParadigMS Activity Summary 2024–2025
Advancing scientific knowledge through publications
ParadigMS experts actively contributed to the international scientific literature, co-authoring multiple peer-reviewed publications addressing key clinical challenges. These included comprehensive reviews and position papers on topics such as the management of Multiple Sclerosis in older individuals, progressive MS, generics and biosimilars, and the evolving role of microglia and novel therapeutic targets. These publications reinforced ParadigMS’ commitment to translating scientific evidence into clinically relevant guidance for neurologists.
Expanding educational resources and digital learning
Throughout the year, ParadigMS continued to develop and disseminate on-demand educational content, including expert-led webinars, presentations, and certified e-learning modules. Over 600 healthcare professionals participated in live webinars, while many more accessed on-demand resources covering MRI and diagnostic criteria, NMOSD management, immune reconstitution therapies, disease progression monitoring beyond EDSS, and new diagnostic criteria for MS. Several self-paced e-learning projects received EACCME® accreditation, supporting flexible, high-quality learning for busy clinicians.
Supporting live education and regional engagement
ParadigMS co-organised and supported multiple live symposia and scientific meetings across Europe, including regional MS symposia and national meetings. These events addressed locally relevant clinical needs while maintaining an international scientific perspective, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration among neurologists and MS specialists.
Driving research and future-focused initiatives
In parallel with educational activities, ParadigMS advanced research initiatives aimed at improving prognosis and disease monitoring in Multiple Sclerosis. Ongoing projects focused on translating complex prognostic factors into practical tools that support more personalized and effective patient care.
Strengthening an international expert network
ParadigMS continued to bring together a broad, international network of recognized experts from Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Through peer review, consensus-building, and active participation in multi-stakeholder initiatives, these experts contributed to shaping best practices and improving standards of care across regions.
