ParadigMS Regional MS Symposium

The ParadigMS Regional MS Symposium in Belgrade, co-organised by the Serbian Neuroimmunology Society and the ParadigMS Foundation, was specifically designed to address the clinical and educational needs of the Balkan region. The programme offered a deep dive into current challenges and evolving concepts in multiple sclerosis (MS) care, including newly proposed diagnostic criteria, radiological markers (such as PRLs and the central vein sign), cerebrospinal fluid analysis, and the role of aging in MS.
Attendees engaged in high-level discussions on detecting disease progression, emerging biomarkers, and updated approaches to NMOSD management. The final session highlighted the practical implications of generics and biosimilars, as well as innovative therapeutic strategies including B-cell and CAR-T therapies.
With a combination of expert presentations, dynamic panel debates, and Q&A sessions, the symposium was designed to support neurologists in translating complex scientific developments into clinical practice.
