About this e-learning

Welcome! This e-learning course explores the role of early high-efficacy treatment strategies in Multiple Sclerosis (MS), with a focus on their potential impact on long-term clinical outcomes. Drawing on evidence from clinical trials, international registries, and emerging biomarker research, the course examines how treatment timing and therapeutic strategies may influence disease progression and long-term neurological health.

Through expert presentations by Tjalf Ziemssen and Bart Van Wijmeersch, the course reviews evidence comparing early high-efficacy treatment with escalation strategies, focusing on disability progression, disease activity, and long-term brain health.

This course provides neurologists and related healthcare professionals with evidence-based insights to support individualized treatment decisions. It highlights the importance of integrating clinical evidence, prognostic biomarkers, and patient-specific risk–benefit considerations when selecting therapeutic strategies aimed at preserving long-term brain health.
